"Rocky" is a 2013 AQHA red dun stud who has joined the ranch. He is a 5 panel clean grandson of High Brow Hickory.
Rocky also goes back to Freckles Playboy two times and Colonel Freckles.
Standing at 14.3 hands, he has great foot and bone. His offspring have been good minded and good to get along with. His pedigree is filled with those good, older cow pedigree lines we can all appreciate.
With the advent of the 2026 breeding season coming up, we at the ranch will have limited openings to outside mares. We will have 2026 foals available for purchase.
Terms for outside mares include:
*No Hind Shoes
* Current vaccinations & in good health for breeding
* Halter broke, broke to tie
*Copy of registration papers at the time of service
* Mare Care: $12 dry/ $14 wet per day or $8 per day for pasture breeding (Minimum 30 days)
* 2026 Fees: Freckles Dunny Red $600 live cover/pasture breed
We encourage all mare owners to utilize their local vet to see where mares are in their cycle to help with timing to coming to the ranch and ensure soundness to breed.
